Hi, I’m Cinnamon Miles, the founder of Liberty Jane Clothing.
We’re really excited you’ve found our Patterns site, it’s an important part of our our design work. We are a tiny little clothing company in support of the American Girl doll phenomenon, and we’re trying our best to focus on an intense level of detail, create custom patterns, use top quality fabrics, and give you the chance to own something rare and beautiful. We generally release a Spring and Fall line, and four or five new patterns a month, and we want to be your partner and assist you in having an amazing wardrobe for your American Girl doll.
Our designs are sold at http://www.libertyjaneclothing.com/, and our Ebay store. Our outfits offered at auction through our Ebay store regularly go for $80 to $100. We use these auctions to set our ‘buy-it-now’ prices, and as you can imagine, tons of people love our work, but are shocked to find our prices so high.
Instead of ignoring this tension, or compromising and offering lower quality made in China items, we decided to offer our patterns very inexpensively as a way to meet this demand and participate in the fun & excitement of girls learning to sew, and adult collectors adding to their collections. We even offer several patterns as free samples, and bonus pattern gifts as incentives to buy. We’ve designed our patterns incredibly simply. They’re perfect for beginners. You might also notice that we have several designer labels available on the site. In addition to Liberty Jane Patterns, you can also buy Caroline Otto’s Doll Duds Brand Patterns, and Micah Caitlin’s Heritage Doll Fashions brand. We hope to add more elite designers as we grow, and offer you an extremely wide choice of design options.
