Perfect buttonholes! Your machine manual. Buttonhole is Automatic or 4 step Manual. Make sure to Practice before doing the Real Buttonhole. You need a Brand New Needle.
Loosen tension to 3 or sometimes it has a image of a button hole. If manual, it’s like playing an instrument, know the beat(how long to stich) and stopping exactly at your marks. Automatic remember to stitch till the machine
stops. If you make 5 buttonhole samples, the Skill you need will have been learned. Fun to have even if you use velcro and never open the buttonhole.
Open a buttonhole? Buttonhole has a top bar tack and a bottom bar tack and two sides(4 steps). Place Straight Pin before the Top bar tack. Start in the buttonhole center and move your Seam Ripper to the Pin cutting half of the buttonhole open. Now place the Straight Pin to the Bottom bar tack. Starting in the center move the seam ripper to it. Now you can try your button!
