Can this dress be made with normal 100% cotton fabric or does it have to be made with a knit type of fabric? I would like to make it out of plain cotton. I don’t have a very good selection of knit fabrics at my fabric store.
The Salina Dress is my favorite pattern…it is so classic, yet modern…and it is perfectly designed to fit American Girls…lovely!

This was the first Liberty Jane pattern my mom and I tried sewing, and this is DEFINITELY high up on my list of all-time-favourite-patterns! I have a question that someone else posted and didnt see an answer……Can you use cotton for this dress?? All i use is cotton so i make sure the dress can be made and made right with my fabrics. Thank you!!
