Pattern Guidebook Details: This is a beautifully illustrated pattern guidebook that you digitally download as a pdf file so you can start sewing your new little girls size 6 months- size 6 dress immediately. Doll Clothes pattern also included so you can make a matching dress for your American Girl Doll or Bitty baby doll. The Adobe pdf viewer is required. You simply print out the pdf and you’re ready to start. The Guidebook provides the pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions for creating the Hayden dress for your little girl and 18 inch American Girl Doll. *Before printing your new guidebook, ensure the ‘page scaling’ is set to ‘none’ in the print dialogue box. If it is set to ‘shrink to fit’ the pattern will not be properly sized.

Step-by-Step Instructions – These easy to follow instructions walk you through each step in completing your little girls dress and a matching American Girl® Doll’s new dress.
The Pattern – It’s wonderfully designed, and not complicated. There are full size pattern pieces for both the girl sized dress and the doll dress. The pattern pieces will print out on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper and have markings on them to show you how to tape them together to make one large pattern piece for the girl sized dress. The pattern instructions also include a glossary of sewing terms.
Child Sizes included: 6/9 months, 12/18 months, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
The Bonus Shiny Happy Dress Instructions - This is a set of instructions, not a full pattern guidebook, but with the instructions you can quickly make a Shiny Happy Dress for dolls.

Never mind I just found it….
I live in Central America and when I order this pattern I will be shipping it to someone who is coming here to visit. I need to order the fabric so she can bring it with her. Can you tell me how much I need to make a girls size 3 dress and a dress for an 18-inch doll? Thanks so much–it’s almost impossible to by fabric here and if it’s available, the quality is very poor.
Hi Cheryl, The pattern will come as a PDF file, so it won’t be shipped, just emailed and then printed.
For the girls size 3 dress you will need 1 yard of the main fabric and 1/4 yard for lining fabric. You will need 1/2 yard for the doll dress. Hope this helps!
