You Can Do It!

Knits are hard to work with, but this pattern makes it easy! Plus at the American Girl® Doll Store you’d pay around $35 for a new outfit for your doll. But you can make these clothes for less than the cost of a Starbucks Grande White Chocolate Mocha. Making this outfit yourself is an extreme value! Go for it.

Pattern Guidebook Details: This is a beautifully illustrated pattern guidebook that you digitally download as a pdf file so you can start sewing your new 18 inch doll tee shirt immediately. The Adobe pdf viewer is required. You simply print out the pdf and you’re ready to start. The Guidebook provides the pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions for creating a tee shirt for your American Girl® Doll. *Before printing your new guidebook, ensure the ‘page scaling’ is set to ‘none’ in the print dialogue box. If it is set to ‘shrink to fit’ the pattern will not be properly sized.   Step-by-Step Instructions - These full color easy to follow instructions walk you through each step in completing your dolls new Off The Shoulder Tee.   The Pattern - The pattern dimentions are included. No enlarging or resizing necessary. This is a beginner level sewing pattern.

  2. Yeah! I sold a ton of these little crop tops in the early 80′s when I owned a junior sportswear store. I messed around with designing one for the dolls and just couldn’t get the fit right. I’m so thrilled to have this fun pattern.

      The pattern pieces are included along with the step by step instructions showing you how to make the top. You need to use your own fabric or you can even use an outgrown tee…

      Hi Chaney, It’s called a burn-out knit. You can find this at the fabric store, usually in white, or use the fabric from upcycled tees.
