Another Cutie! Can’t wait till next week when school is out so I can make this one! Keep the wonderful patterns coming.
Thanks Fran, there will be more patterns in this collection coming soon!
What fabric did you use to make the cover up? By the way i really like this pattern.
Hi Jamie,
McKenna’s is just made from a white cotton poplin. It might have even been a poly/cotton. I tie died it a couple of times once I’d done the trim to get the effect I wanted.
Lucy’s is just a fine cotton I’d used for lining a dress. I’d intended to use muslin but found it too fiddly. Light cottons seem to work best.
This is adorable! I just hand dyed some gauze fabric to make this for my daughter and her doll. Can’t wait to make this for them. Thanks so much for putting up such great easy to use patterns.
Thanks Vicky!
That is so cute! But did you have to knit the bottom hem part separetly?
Hi Zari,
You can crochet the trim on after the dress is made or buy a trim you like and sew it on, up to you, but there is that option if you don’t crochet. Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Keryn
I’d love to see this made in tie-dyed fabric.
