This is a beautifully illustrated doll clothes pattern that you digitally download as a pdf file so you can start sewing your new doll gymnastics leotard immediately. The Adobe pdf viewer is required. You simply print out the pdf and you’re ready to start. The PDF sewing pattern provides the full size pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions. *Before printing, ensure the ‘page scaling’ is set to ‘none’ in the print dialogue box. If it is set to ‘shrink to fit’ the pattern will not be properly sized.

Supplies Needed - 1/4 yard of two way stratch fabric and a small scrap for accent color. Small piece of velcro, a double needle (optional), and thread.

Step-by-Step Instructions -These full color easy to follow instructions walk you through each step in completing your American Girl® dolls new leotard. 

The Pattern – The sewing pattern is designed to use two way stretch fabrics. Two Styles included, make it with or without sleeves. The pattern pieces are included. No enlarging or resizing necessary.

    What size double needle would you reccomend? 2.0 or 4.0. Would a stretch stitch twin needle work best? I’m going to order this after I get the needle. Thanks.

    • Hi Ruth, just spotted your question. Sorry for not replying sooner. Size 2, doll scale needs to be quite small I always feel. I’m sure a stretch needle would be best – I just used a universal though. Hope that helps.
