Have fun with solid colors, animal prints or even metallics! This is a beautifully illustrated doll clothes pattern, designed to fit American Girl ® Dolls, that you instantly download as a pdf file so you can start sewing your new 18 inch doll outfit immediately. The Adobe pdf viewer is required. You simply print out the pdf and you’re ready to start.

Supplies Needed:

  • Remnant piece of fabric for body   – Remnant Piece for insoles  
  • Sturdy Cardboard  – 1  craft foam sheet 9” x 12” black  (2mm thick) 
  • Hot glue gun and Hot glue sticks  – Quilters Fleece 
  • Adhesive Spray and Tacky Glue  
  • foam core board  -Rolled Cork (optional)

 Pattern Details:

This is an intermediate level pattern because of the assembly, the sewing skills required are basic. These full color easy to follow instructions walk you through each step in completing your American Girl ® dolls new ballet flats. The PDF sewing pattern provides the full size pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions. *Before printing, ensure the ‘page scaling’ is set to ‘none’ in the print dialogue box. If it is set to ‘shrink to fit’ the pattern will not be properly sized.

    gloria, it doesn’t call for 1″ thick foam; it calls for 1 sheet of 2mm foam. i know sometimes i read something but my brain registers something else!
