Supplies Needed:

  • 1/3 yard of lining
  • matching thread
  • 2 buttons – 1/4″
  • 1/4 yard narrow cording or 1/8″ ribbon

Pattern Details:

There are 11 pages of full color step by step instruction as well as 2 pages of text only instructions to save on printer ink! These full color easy to follow instructions walk you through each step in completing your new cape for an Ellowyne Wilde Doll. This is an intermedaite level sewing pattern. This densely gathered cape features a machine-sewn mitered lining and center back hood detailing. It closes with two buttons and integrated button loops. This cape can be made from a variety of fabrics. We suggest using velveteen, corduroy, or a lightweight wool flannel. A rayon, silk or poly blend lining will work nicely to complement the fashion fabric. The PDF sewing pattern provides the full size pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions. *Before printing, ensure the ‘page scaling’ is set to ‘none’ in the print dialogue box. If it is set to ‘shrink to fit’ the pattern will not be properly sized.

Does this print 8 1/2 by 11 or legal sized paper?

It prints on 8.5 by 11 paper. A few of the pieces are larger than would fit on one page so they will be taped together after cutting them out. 🙂
