Pattern Overview:

A v-neck tee is a great addition to any doll’s wardrobe! Liberty Jane is excited to offer you this new sewing pattern to teach you how to do this “lapped v” technique. This is a perfect project for using upcycled t-shirts that you might have lying around. This is a beautifully illustrated doll clothes pattern, designed to fit American Girl ® Dolls, that you instantly download as a pdf file so you can start sewing your new 18 inch doll outfit immediately. The Adobe pdf viewer is required. You simply print out the pdf and you’re ready to start.

Supplies Needed:

  • 1/4 yard of thin knit fabric, rayon blends work great too!
  • Thread, Vlecro, and a sewing machine

 Pattern Details:

There are 11 pages of full color step by step instruction as well as 1 page of text only summary of  instructions to save on printer ink! These full color easy to follow instructions walk you through each step in completing your American Girl ® dolls new v neck shirt. This is an intermediate level pattern because of the v-neck technique, but once you learn how to do it it’s pretty quick and easy to sew.   The PDF sewing pattern provides the full size pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions. *Before printing, ensure the ‘page scaling’ is set to ‘none’ in the print dialogue box. Is this a pull-over or does it have velcro in the back? Thanks

This is a really cute t-shirt. I love the neck and sleeves. However, I have the older dolls with white bodies and they don’t look good with anything below the neck showing.

    The doll model is beautiful.
