Hi Everyone, Here’s a little about me… I am married with 2 young boys…all 3 of them require constant attention! I grew up with all sisters. Although we all had American Girl dolls, I am the only one who continued loving them into adulthood. Now, in a houseful of boys, American Girl dolls are my girlie getaway. They are sort of my replacement “little girls” in a way. Awhile back, I informed my husband that for every year I don’t have a daughter, I expect him to buy me another American Girl doll. He has already gotten 2 for me
Although I have been collecting American Girl dolls for years, I just began designing outfits for them and sewing this year. I got my first sewing machine this year from my husband, who was tired of seeing my attempts at hand sewing doll outfits!
My first doll, Logan, was bought for me when I was 11 as a gift from my grandmother and have been collecting since! Although I am in my late 20′s, I plan on staying a “little girl” forever. So maybe one day I will be able to play AG dolls with my granddaughters!
